Does anyone know of a good tattoo cover up for black people?

Sunday Nov 29, 2009

I’m more of a medium brown my tattoos are on my forearm black stars I want to get a cover-up for know until I can figure out a way to get rid of them. If anyone also knows a cheap way to get rid of tattoos that would help as well. They’re already really faded and my natural skin colors shows thru the stars.

I work with Ferbs Cosmetics and know they do a great job at covering tattoos. It’s something about the way the minerals reflect the light that enables the cosmetic to do such a great job at covering vibrant tattoo pigments.

Their Tattoo Cover Up is available in 5 skin tones and the company usually gives away free samples if you contact them and ask.

Does anyone have any stories regarding laser tattoo removal?

Sunday Nov 29, 2009

I’m currently going through the process and get depressed looking at it. I hated it to begin with, but now I’m hoping I’m not messing things up by getting laser removal. I have some discolorations and the tattoo is fading, but looks bad…Anyone have any stories to share? P. S. I’m of light skin tone (not white, but black). Thanks!

We have done cover work over several Tattoo Removal attempts on black skin, even if light. It seems with the increase in melanin, laser seems to hypigment areas. Most times people are left with some of the tattoo color and areas of hypopigmentation that looks like hell.

Sorry.

At least you will get it cleaned up enought to do a really nice cover piece. Be absolutely sure to go to a really really good artist that can show you a LOT of pictures of healed in cover pieces.

How much would it cost for a small tattoo removal?

Sunday Nov 29, 2009

I had a Japanese tattoo inked on my back and there’s a small, extra stroke to one of the characters. The stroke is less than 3cm by 1cm and placed in a manner which would not allow it to be touched up to look natural in the character. How much would it cost to have this eliminated by means of laser removal? Any less than the 5 sessions of $200 I’ve heard because of the miniscule size?

im getting mine removed too and that is the price i got too =/

and if you go to a place that has good equipment it wont leave a scar or burnt looking spot (in responce to that other persons answer lol)

Where to Find Free Tattoo Designs

Thursday Nov 26, 2009

So you’ve thought long and hard about getting a tattoo and you’ve decided that yes, you’re definitely going to ‘get inked’? If so, the next logical question to ask is, “What design do I choose?”

If you have absolutely no idea about what sort of design you’d like superimposed onto your body, it’s going to take you many hours of careful consideration. You will need to view as many designs as possible, ensuring you make the right decision.

Making the right decision is critical – so we’ll help you find free tattoo designs!
Making the right decision is really important when it comes to choosing a tattoo design, because deciding to have a tattoo is a lifelong commitment. It’s not like buying something at the store, and taking it back because you’ve changed your mind. A tattoo – unless you undertake expensive, painful laser removal procedures – is for life. That is why we advise you to view as many different tattoo designs as possible, so you make the right design decision. If you’ve already been researching designs, chances are you have heard all about free tattoo designs and galleries online where you can view and download individual designs of interest. It’s an absolute maze online, because there are just so many galleries to check out, so to make the process a little easier and a whole lot more time efficient for you, we’re going to introduce you to four good websites – membership-based and totally free- that are jam-packed full of free tattoo designs!

Our recommended list of free tattoo design websites to check out!
We’re fairly confident in assuming that it’s going to take you many hours to decide on a tattoo design that’s right for you. When we searched the web on your behalf for the best free tattoo design sites online, we found that virtually all of them required paid membership which would allow you to download as many designs as you like. Here are just some of these membership-based or totally free tattoo design websites we took a look at:

1) tattoojohnny.com
A really well designed website dedicated to free tattoo design ideas, Tattoo Johnny provides anybody interested in getting a tattoo with the information and design ideas they need to consider, in order to make the right decision. Although the actual tattoo ideas are free for you to print the color version of the design, the strong message this site conveys is that to ensure your tattoo is perfect, you will need to download the artist’s stencil of the design you like. For a small fee (typically under $20USD), you can download the stencil, however visitors are assured that this will save you money when you go to a tattoo artist. If you simply take a design picture or photograph to your chosen artist, they will need to charge you to create a stencil while you wait. At Tattoo Johnny, you simply pay a small fee to download the artist stencil, and when you are ready to ‘get inked’, you give your tattoo artist a copy of the color version and the artist stencil. Tattoo Johnny even goes one step further to make sure you are well prepared to have a tattoo done, because you can test drive your tattoo by creating your own test tattoo using the transfer paper available for just $3.89 at the online store. This way you can trial a washable tattoo to make sure it suits you, before you take the permanent tattoo plunge.

2) tattoodles.com
Tattoodles is a paid membership website which features a large range of tattoo designs that you can print out and take to the tattoo artist of your choice. This website features the works of many tattoo artists and hosts an online tattoo artist community where these people can network and share ideas and inspiration. An online magazine is also accessible via the website, and is packed with articles related to all tattoo issues. This site is popular amongst tattoo artists and those interested in getting a tattoo of their own. With a huge array of tattoo designs to view, Tattoodles is a site you won’t want to miss in your search for the perfect design.

3) tattoospot.com
Tattoo Spot is a completely free website that allows you to check out a large range of tattoo photographs. It is a website where people upload photographs of their own tattoos, so it doesn’t actually provide visitors to the site with actual drawings of tattoo designs that you can take to your tattoo artist. If you found a design on this website from a photograph which appealed, you would need to take it to your tattoo artist, and they would have to create a stencil in order to superimpose the design onto your skin.

4) tattoomenow.com
This is another paid-membership website where you have access to thousands of tattoo designs once you join. Founded by a self-confessed tattoo enthusiast, Tattoo Me Now claims to be the ultimate tattoo membership and design gallery. After many months of research, Tattoo Me Now was launched and now provides tattoo enthusiasts with a huge tattoo design gallery of more than 3,500 tattoo designs categorized by type. A member gallery is also loaded with photographs of tattoos to provide you with even more ideas. If you’re looking for the perfect tattoo design or inspiration at all, this is a good site to join.

There are many more membership and completely free tattoo design websites to check out!
The four websites we list in this article will provide you with enough ideas to get you started on your tattoo design decision-making journey! We trust you’ll have a lot of fun and wish you all the very best when it comes to finding the tattoo design that’s just right for you! Remember that although there are many sites where you can print out photographs or drawings of tattoo designs, the tattoo design itself is never totally free, because your tattoo artist will need to create a stencil for that design, in order to superimpose it onto your skin. Happy searching!

Popular Tattoo Designs

Thursday Nov 26, 2009

Tattoos are a common thing these days.  They are more popular than ever before.  Research has shown that nearly 1 in 4 people have at least one tattoo.  There are many designs to choose from, giving people a chance to be creative.  Below, we will take a look at some of the most popular tattoo designs.

Tribal tattoos are among the most popular designs.  They have been around for hundreds and hundreds of years and they are always evolving and becoming more and more complex with their designs and styles.  Tribal tattoos can either be the traditional black style that cover the arms and the legs or the more colorful styles that can cover every area of the body.  The colorful, more modern look is becoming more and more popular when compared to other styles.

The “old school” styles of tattoos are also popular.  Anchors and things like that are making a great comeback these days and not just with sailors.  These styles were very common and very popular back in the 60s.  They are rapidly gaining their popularity back, as females and males are getting anchors and swallow designs tattooed on them more and more.

Lower back tattoos are the most common for women.  The lower back is one of the most sexual and sensual areas on a women, making the ideal spot for a tattoo.  Tribal designs are the most popular, although flowers, dragons, and other symbols make great tattoos as well.  The lower back offers plenty of natural curves as well, which can make for an innovative tattoo.  Often times, women tend to include tribal that spreads, covering the base of their hips as well.

Dragon designs are another popular type style of tattoos.  They were popular in the past, and are now starting to get their popularity back.  There are a lot of different dragons to choose from, including the mythical dragon and ancient Chinese dragon.  Dragons are great on the chest for males and the back for females.  Dragon tattoos  can be virtually any size, although most males tend to have them cover one side of their chest or the upper region of their arms.

Celtic tattoos are also popular as well.  They are mostly seen with those who have a Celtic heritage, although some with no Celtic heritage have them as well.  They offer a variety of symbols and designs, providing universal meanings for everyone.  Often times they are mixed with tribal tattoos to create a more innovative tattoo.

There are several other types of tattoos out there, although the above are the most common.  Tattoos can be very creative and innovative; it all depends on what you want.  If you’re looking to stand out and be truly creative – you can always have a professional tattoo artist design one for you.For more information about Tattoos visit FREE TATTOOS DESIGN.

Instead of Beauty School High School Graduates Opt for Cosmetic Laser School

Thursday Nov 26, 2009

Any post graduate school or any other higher education facility is going to move students ahead further than if they only had a high school diploma. Students are discovering cosmetic <a title=”Canyon State laser schools provide the training you need!” href=http://canyonstatelaser.com/page/1lq8e/Resources/Laser_Schools.html>laser schools</a> offer higher wages and benefits than attending standard beauty school.

Besides haircuts and manicures, men and women are splurging for even more. Even in this economy, people are paying big bucks for cosmetic laser treatments such as:

•    Laser Hair Removal
•    Restylane and Juvederm Facial Injections
•    Microderm Abrasion
•    Tattoo Removal
•    Other Medi-Spa Treatments

Graduates of cosmetic laser school receive <a title=For the latest news on Restylane training, go to Canyon State Laser!” href=http://canyonstatelaser.com/page/1lq8f/Resources/Restylane_Training.htm>Restylane training</a> and <a title=”Juverderm is a specialty offered by Canyon State Laser.” href=http://canyonstatelaser.com/page/1lq8c/Resources/Juvederm_Training.html>Juvederm training</a>  on top of laser hair removal and other modern medical spa skills. The reason for the surge in laser school enrollments is due partly because these modern services come with a hefty price tag, which in turn, help to provide good paychecks and benefits for it’s staff.

Cosmetic Hair Removal Price Comparison Verses the Waxing Salon
•    $50-$150 for a bikini/ back/leg wax
•    $225-$2,000 for laser hair removal for bikini/ back/ legs

Cosmetic Photo Facial Verses Facial at the Salon
•    $500-$1000 for Photofacial
•    $50-100 for salon facial

Beauty School Verses Laser School
•    $3,000-$5,000 for beauty school
•    $4000 laser school

The pricing for beauty school is comparable to that of laser school. Graduates of laser school can expect to pay off their student loan faster than graduates of beauty school, where their salary is often less than the salary of laser school graduates.

When it comes to elective procedures like being hair-free or tattoo free that make people feel good about themselves, it doesn’t matter the price, people will pay for it. Nothing proves this fact more than looking at the enrollment rate of students at laser schools and the expansions of medical spas nation and world-wide. For a large majority of the nation, expensive salon treatments are definitely low on the priority list, but when it comes to being hair free or tattoo free for one’s wedding, or beach vacation, there are some things like peace of mind that you can’t put a price on.

Jan Tana Hi-Definition Make-Up

Thursday Nov 26, 2009

Tattoo cover up – Every year more and more people are choosing to cover up an existing tattoo. Amazingly, 45 million Americans have tattoos on their body. But almost 17 percent of these people eventually want to cover up their tattoos.

There are many reasons for them to seek for tattoo cover up methods. They may not like their tattoos anymore; have distortion of aging skin; or not be able to have them for professional reasons. The good thing is that there are many ways to cover up a tattoo.

One method to cover up a tattoo is to create a new tattoo to replace the old one. A tattoo cover up may hide an old tattoo with a new artwork, or just incorporate new elements in the existing tattoo.

Another method to cover up a tattoo is to mask the tattoo with specific Tattoo Cover Up make-up or cream. The down side of the tattoo cover up make-up is the time consuming (depends on the size of the tattoo, it can take over 30 minutes to apply it). It can also be very costly considering it over the long run.

Tattoo Removal is the best option for those people who just don’t want to have a tattoo anymore and prefer to completely remove it. Laser is the most common method of tattoo removal. The laser breaks the ink into tiny fragments that are cleared away by your own immune system.

Although the technology of covering up tattoo has advanced, the removal tattoo cover up method is still painful and costly. Depends on the tattoo, several lasers sessions are required to completely remove it. A large colorful tattoo could cost thousands of dollars to remove.

For those who can’t afford a tattoo removal, don’t have the time to apply tattoo cover up make-up or just want to keep their tattoos but need to temporary cover it up sometimes, TatJacket offers the best solution.

TatJacket tattoo cover up sleeves is perfect for you that can’t expose your tattoo at work or just need to cover it up on special occasions. TatJacket cover up tattoo sleeves is lightweight, flexible and breathable.

UV Protection clothing – Besides tattoo cover up, TatJacket products are also UV Protection clothing. That means that by wearing TatJacket products you not only avoid exposing your tattoo but also protects your tattooing from discoloration due to sunlight. How much does a wrist tattoo costs? Where can I get tattoo cover up?

Wednesday Nov 25, 2009

I think I want to get a tattoo on both my inner wrists ( or at least one wrist). Probably a simple shooting star on one and then the words "strength. courage. wisdom." in cursive on the other. And they probably won’t have color. How much might this costs?

Also, I’m a lighter skin African American (dark tan color maybe?) and I want to find makeup that I could use to cover up the tattoos when I wanted to? Thanks

uhhh…if you’re gonna get a tat, then you need to be comfortable with the fact that it will show. If you feel the need to get a concealer, then maybe you dont need the tat?
