Many designs and images are yet to be discovered. The only medium that can provide an extreme head-to-toe makeover for a person is tattooing: The experience is much like repainting a car, except that tattoos are much more specifically targeted per area on the body.
Examples of the most prominent designs available for women are remarkable in the quality of their artistic expression. Of the best designs that have a place in tattoo culture, some of the more popular images are butterflies in motion, a female figure seeming to emerge from the hand, celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe flying while holding a heart-shaped balloon, a fire-breathing belly button dragon, and a clawing tiger on the arm.
These are all worthwhile images. Even more samples seen are a Celtic design on the belly, Biblical passages on the back or leg, a tablet of Egyptian hieroglyphics, or even a treasure map, which can be a bit of clever fun for a woman. In addition, others that have made the ink scene include Buddha laughing, roses, superwomen, angels, fairies, Zodiac signs, shooting stars, Chinese characters, and dolphins on a woman’s body.
The optimal signs are those like devil wings, flowing blood, and faux broken ribs. Other commonalities, once reserved for men, are the classic biker tats: Death and demons, barbed wire, evil babies, wizardry symbols, and eagles. The location of a tattoo on a woman retains a lot of meaning. An image on the lower back, for instance, can help accentuate a girl’s curves, while others can add to her glamor or provide an erotic quality.
One popular idea is to utilize a tattoo to cover a scar! Tattoos have become remarkably attractive and creative, some even managing to be provocative. Whatever the case may be, a proper image in ink can enhance the image of a woman.

I have some old scars on my arms and have been thinking of getting a tattoo over one of my arms to cover it up. Will the tattoo completely cover it up or will the scars ruin the over all look of the tattoo?
Sorry, I forgot to mention the severity of the scar. Its a self-inflicted scar, they are pretty thick but not too deep. I started using this treatment for scars but it only softened it in some areas. The scars are about 5 years old.
it depends on how old the scar is. usually if its older than like 2 years it will be healed and faded enough to tattoo over.

Everyone knows that the lion is the king of the animals and its roar is so aggressive and impressive that the entire jungle fears it. Almost every single culture in the world presents the lion as a symbol for strength, power and courage. That’s why usually people associate it with royalty.
When someone chooses to wear a lion tattoo on the body, in most cases the model pictures a very realistic lion. Depending on everyone’s temper the lion can bear its teeth or can be very calm.
The talent of the artist performing the tattoo plays a very important role because you’ll wear the lion on the skin for the rest of your life.
A lion tattoo can be as big as you want it to be. There are tattoos with only lion heads and also tattoos picturing the whole kitty. Your lion tattoo can measure only a few inches or can cover your entire back; the decision is entirely up to you.
Artists consider a lion tattoo to be very simple and if it’s well inked the final result will look absolutely amazing. A great lion tattoo comprises separate colors for mouth, skin, nose, mane and eyes.
If you want something special you can choose to have a big lion in the middle of its natural habitat: an African plain or a jungle. With more color added on the background the lion will look simply great.
The price for a lion tattoo is established depending on the size, the type of the model and the number of colors used for it. Bigger the lion higher the price. The rule is very simple.
People wearing lion tattoos are looking to project a powerful and courageous image because the lion is a very beautiful and strong feline.
Not to mention that they are now one step closer to royalty because the lion was and still is the image of several important kings and emperors worldwide.
Everything depends on the artist because he can make the lion look very realistic or he can make it look like a frightened and sad cat.
If you choose a very good artist you won’t have to worry about anything. Just sit there relax and think how great the lion will look on your body.

I’m trying to find some good Tattoo Cover Up makeup that won’t rub off on clothes. I have a big tattoo on my back and my wedding dress has an opening right where my tat is. The problem is, if I don’t cover it up, it will just look like a blob because the entire thing won’t be showing through. Otherwise I wouldn’t have a problem showing it.
Do you know of a good makeup I can order? Have you used it before?
Thanks
Most people I know suggest Dermablend. It’s a little pricey though.

I have written some about tattoos and sun and how they really don’t mix well. But today I wanted to add a little something that I have not touched on about tattoos and sun. A lot of times people will get tattoos when they are on vacation and a lot of times when you are on vacation you are somewhere, where it is very sunny. This could become a little bit of a problem if you get fresh ink while there or have gotten fresh ink before your trip.
I’m not by all means telling you not to get a tattoo when you are on vacation but you may want to wait until the last day of your vacation so you can avoid the sun. But if that’s not the case there are a few little things you can do. First of all you can cover up the area you got tattooed with an article of clothing or you can simply put a bandage over your tattoo to prevent the sun’s rays from hitting your tattoo. And please please remember that you are not allowed to go swimming with a new tattoo so you will want to refrain from jumping in the pool or ocean.
So if you are dead set on getting a tattoo maybe you should wait until after you have gotten home from vacation that way you will not have to worry about your tattoo getting exposed to the sun. Alsoyou won’t feel left out because you can’t have fun in the pool or ocean. Just remember after your tattooed has healed and it is exposed to the sun to put a high SPF sun tan lotion on it to help prevent the ink from fading.

I am trying to not but Tattoo Cover Up since its kinds expensive and I only need it for one night. Ice never used matte foundation make up and I was wondering if that would be thick enough to cover a tattoo on my leg?
Depending on how big and dark it is, it may work. Pair it with a pair of pantyhose or stockings, for some extra coverage, and so that it doesn’t get wiped off accidentally.

How does it feel like to be tattooed? It is painful, alright. After all it is an art. Art needs emotions (which presumably cover pain!) to bring out the best from an art piece. The money aside, pain in tattooing is part of the investment. It makes you really appreciate what you are doing.
And depending on the design of your tattoo, the process will get on more painful and painful. So please bear with it.
The more decorative or the more symbolic your tattoo design is, the more artistic it will get. Tattoo is simply a means of self-expression. It is after all, used among wide scopes of culture and its history runs down from ages to ages. And understandably, as the ‘ages’ went, the tattoo designs became more elaborate that some developed more like living artworks rather than simple accentuations imbedded into human skin.
There are literally myriad of tattoo designs that often leave customers overwhelmed. Let us take a look on some more popular designs these days so you and other people planning to get tattooed would have more defined ideas of what design to punch into the skin. Note: This isn’t easy and the process is equally not handy so focus on what you truly desire and work on it until the last point of the needle.
No culture in the world is more responsible with the development of the tattoo than the region of the Polynesia. The word itself came from its ancient language, which meant “to make a mark”.
The designs patterned from ancient ideas spotted in this region are normally referred to as tribal, one of the most intuitive and versatile designs there are. Aggressive bold lines and symmetrical patterns, tribal tattoos remain to be popular (and constantly working its way to extreme popularity) because it primarily allows the influence of other cultures, artists’ personal expression and fusion with other designs.
Like its tribal ancestors, designs patterned from Celtic ideas don’t actually contain or convey a single concept, rather it communicates feelings and illustrations depending on the interpretation of the audience. Celtic concepts were typically borrowed from ancient Celtic culture tracing back from the 1st century. These designs don’t present specific images, except for those that depict certain pieces of Celtic history and literature. Designs covered in this genre have no beginning and no end. They are composed of intertwining loops and knots. While unquestionably famous, Celtic tattoo designs should only be done by artists who have dedicated their profession in this single style.
Yet it is not only the looks that matter in tattoo designs. Because it is for self-expression, people often find themselves content with adding specific religious symbols that make their faith more pronounced. No wonder, the extreme prevalence of angels, crosses and other religious tokens can be seen throughout many regions.
Well, who would forget patriotism? (Or is it due to lack of choice? Probably not.)
The eagle, the eagle, the eagle. Well, that’s stereotypical. How many times have we seen myriad of eagle designs that depict the Great America? We’ve already lost count actually.
Americans seem to have this special commitment towards the country that they are even willing to leave marks of its symbols into their skin. You may choose to follow after their practice but you may also not. That really depends on our preference. However, if you want to be unique, you can try looking for more seldomly used design rather than the American eagle or any other eagle of that sort.
The only key here is to ask yourself what really matters to you. Will I love Mary mean the same thing a few years from now? Think.
