I got my second tattoo on the back of my neck. I got a cherry blossom done. And the tattoo itself didn’t hurt. The worst part was having to sit up straight and keep my head down for about 20-25 minutes. My neck was sore afterwards.
Anything small and cute that doesn’t look too trashy is always excellent for the back of the neck. But just make sure you get something that is meaningful to you. I got the cherry blossom because they symbolize how small and gorgeous life is.
What do you reckon? Resolution below!

Why do you want dolphins?
Chances are if you’re just getting a tattoo because you like the an animal, or you reckon something looks kind of cool, you’ll get sick of it when you get grown-up.
Please choose something that really means something to you.
I have five tattoos and the one on the back of my neck hurt the worst, man it hurt terrible.
tatoos are lame
people wit tatoos are lame
they are unsexy
hideous
it is a sin
why bother
I have an ex wife who wants a dolphin tattoo, as she collects dolphins, all kinds of stuff with ‘em on it, and all she has to do is drag herself down to my shop, and pick one out. I reckon the back of the neck is a fantastic thought, as she is struggling with where to place it. Provided, of course, the one she picks can be comfortably done that small. But I reckon the back of the neck is ideal. It’s ladylike, and smacks of professionalism. Thanks for the question! Take care.
the back of the neck doesnt hurt any more then any where else (it just feels like someone is plucking your eyebrows really quick) It sounds like a excellent thought because the back of the neck is simple to cover and show off!
My first and only tattoo at this point of time is on the back of my next. honestly it didn’t hurt. The only thing i reckon that hurt was sitting straight up and having my head (my chin to my chest) down for like 35-40 minutes straight. What i have is a Japanese kanji symbol of like. I know its risky to have that but i went over to Japan so i know for sure that the symbol on my neck is like for sure. After a while i want to get “sa rang ha da Matthew” under it which mean “i like you Matthew” in korean. I know this for sure because my boyfriend, Matthew is from south korea.
