does anyone have the back of their neck tattooed?How bad did it hurt?What did you get on it?
it all depends on your pain tolerance level, mine only hurt for about the first 5 minutes or so then it was fine.
I have a celtic knot there.

I have mine done, yeah it hurt. but pain is very subjective what hurts to some may not hurt others. what hurt is him pulling my hairs to pull the skin tight so he could tattoo it. I have a 5 inch piece on my neck that I drew.

i recently asked her about the pain, because i am thinking of getting one in that location, she "claims" that it didn’t hurt. but she has an extremely high pain tolerance, so it probably didn’t hurt her.
she has an ankh, it is black, with blue shading around it to resemble water, and it has a blue eye in the middle of the ankh, with these pretty long lashes on it.

Ok, I don’t mean to be rude or anything, and you can have your own oppinion, but there are 3 reasons why NOT to get tattoos.
1. The are very painful (especially on your neck).
2. They are expensive.
3. What do you think it is going to look like when your like 80?

i dont imagine it would hurt as much as some other places. I have a tattoo on the bony part of my hip that goes up onto my stomach. the stomach parn hardly hurt but the hip hurt conciderably. i believe it hurts more to get tattooed over bones but there is a bit of meat on the back of the neck. go for it! i love tattos. and the back ofhe neck is fairly easy to cover with hair if needed

I don’t have it done, but my best friend has his entire back neck tattooed.
He said it hurt like a bitch, but sat through the whole thing, so that says enough because the kid has zero pain tolerance.
No matter what the pain, you’ll live through it, and it’ll all be worth it in the end when you have a great tattoo that you love.

I have a heart with a crown covering most of the back of my neck. It hurt, yes, but it was tolerable, and I love my neck piece. I’ve had it for almost seven years, and have not regretted it for a second.

i have 22 tats and one goes from my lower back all the way to the hairline of my neck and it didnt hurt alot , once the intial outline is done which is more of an aggravation than straight pain it should kinda in a odd sort of way fee good thats why people continue to get them so go ahead and get one your man will love to look at it while hittin it from the back

Sorry…but to people’s reasoning to why not to get tattoo’s espeacially when they say "what do you think it’ll look like when your old?" What does it matter! It’s not like your going to show your body off when your that old. I’m not worried what it’ll look like at that age because no one is going to see my body unless I get an old granny swim suit to go swimmin’ and even then I’ll already be wrinkly and spotty so why not have some color? =)
By then they may even have new technical things to reduse sagging and wrinkles anyway.
