I need a good tattoo cover up. I have 2 weddings I’m standing in coming up and my own. Please help!!?
I’ve seen tattoo cover ups before in pictures they look horrible. They always look like a big white spot. Mine is on my chest and I hate it. All the dresses are strapless and I really need a good cover up that will hopefully match my skin tone. Please let me know of any websites or anything. Thanks!!
This is a job for a good makeup artist. The problem with these cover ups is that they are very opaque and will show up a lot in photos. You need to have a good blend of color and most importantly, a really good setting powder. Many makeup artists I know mix Cover Mark and Dermablend together because they feel one is too dry and the other is too oily.
Apparently Sephora has a Kat Von D labeled product but I know nothing much about it – I don’t even know if there is a setting powder. See if there is an esthetics school in your area. You might be able to work with them at a better cost.

Personally I think covering it up is lame…I have five tattoos and 3 will be showing at my wedding in 6 weeks. Be proud of your ink.

I went there last week & they covered a girls tattoo down her whole side with this light foundation & it matched her skin.. you couldn’t even tell she ever had a tattoo there before. The used the same kind of foundation on my face & it makes your skin look flawless & it’s really light & the best part is it’s only like 13.50. Hope that helps!
