dont cover it up ? your wearing clothes over it arent you

Wear a dress that covers your back? I don’t know… you got the tattoo for a reason, why would you want to hide it?

  5. Remy says:

depends on where the tat is if its on your arms try wearing elbow gloves white elbow gloves

  6. wite.out says:

a cream concealer and powder on top to make it more natural looking and less noticable

I saw a commercial with some cream you can put on it it will fade it out completely it brings the ink to the surface of the skin i forgot what the product was sorry

  8. naviator says:

Yeah; put another tat on top of it.

  9. Bryn says:

you can put a band aid on it. It would only get all over your dress if its a back tattoo, just so you know. But you could try wearing an undershirt or taping a tissue or somthing white over it.

    dermablend

I tried a tattoo cover up kit from Davids Bridal for a military ball. It didn’t work very well at all and I decided I would be more comfortable just not covering it. So don’t waste your money on something like that. If it bothers you that much, maybe wear your hair down or pick a dress that covers it. Or you can do what I did, just accept its part of your body now and just let it be. At least it won’t show up in your pictures.

If your dress covers your tattoo, they have double-sided tape for fabrics. If not, I apologize for not giving you a decent answer. My mother has one, but clothing usually covers it up. I’m sorry I couldn’t help!

you should search it and some tattoo place sell that but makeup like blush works well but you should show your tattoo to see how dark it is and wear

Change dresses. If you’re using some kind of makeup then it won’t get on your dress unless your dress is touching it… Use your veil to cover it :/ Good luck

An excellent way to cover it up is to use this make up called LA minerals. It is all natural made of things that are good for your skin and celebrities use this all the time to cover up their Tatoos.

you can order some samples for only $1 a baggie each and that should be enough for what you want to use it for.

Try putting it on very thick to cover.
And use concealer and everything, so follow the directions here or just try your own method.

I think Thin Lizzy has one that covers up tattoos. I remember there was an add on the T.V and it did it really well but I don’t remember what brand it was. Ask someone in the chemist they will know.

I went to ulta once and the sales girl told me dermablend is the strongest concealer on the market she said people have used it to cover tattoos. you can call the store and ask someone. good luck

    try air brushing.

its kind of like body paint, except its what hollywood uses to have that flawless skin look. You most likely need a Professional to apply it, but go to a local high end beauty salon or something like that and ask around for someone local.

    good luck and congrats!!!!!

if your getting your makeup done the day of your wedding, ask your makeup artist to cover it up… if its the black you will probably be able to see it a bit but not as much
i also have tattoos that will show when i wear my dress but i am proud to show them..i got them for a reason so your shouldn’t be embarrassed to have them show!

Check the back of the Bridal magazines. They usually sell tattoo cover up in the back of the magazines.

Talk to someone at a local makeup counter. Smashbox and MAC are made for theater/film where that type of coverage is commonplace and will stay on better than other brands such as Estee Lauder or Bobbi Brown, or anything you can buy in a drugstore.

There is a product called Dermablend that is made especially for that reason but most reviews I have heard on the wedding boards such as the Knot, etc say that the only thing is does is smear all over the dress instead of covering up the tattoo.

But unless the tattoo is offensive in nature, you obviously have it as a form of self-expression so why try to hide it just to please someone else whose opinion doesn’t matter on your day? Most dresses will cover the back anyway so it shouldn’t be an issue. Go take a look at http://www.offbeatbride.com which has tons of tattooed brides that didn’t cover theirs up and they look just as classy as anyone else.

most makeups don’t cover well and look terrible. you have tattoos, you have reasons for getting them, they are a part of you and you are who your man fell in love with, you are who your friends love, tattoos and all! i didn’t, and i don’t, hide mine – they are a record of my life, of what has made me – me!
your man and mine love us tattoos and all – so i say let them show! be proud of them~don’t let anyone tell you to hide them.
    good luck and happy wedding~

  23. sillygooseberry says:

you could use those tattoo remover creams, unless you only wanna cover it up. If you dont, i think there are stickers in like diff. skin tones that cover up ur tattoos. im not sure though, nut i have heard of them. look em up. happy wedding!

Using stage makeup as it’s heavier & less likely to melt off would prob be your best bet. You could prob have a chat to the make up ladies in the department stores to see if there are any every day products you can use if you can’t find the stage makeup. Why do you want to cover up your tattoo anyway? Tattooed brides are awesome!

  25. casper4 says:

If you really want to hide it, you may be better off wearing a jacket or shawl instead of makeup. A lot of cover-up makeup doesn’t look too great.

You could try this little trick that I learned in high school:

You’ll need two things: some white costume face paint (which can be found in most party stores) and a concealer or foundation that matches your skin tone as exactly as possible and lasts for a long time. Just using foundation or concealer on a tattoo will not cover it adequately.

First, put the white costume paint on the tattoo to the point that you can no longer see it. All you should see is a big white blob where the tattoo is. When the white paint dries, cover it with the foundation or concealer.

Basically, what you would be doing is using a primer before using the color (you wouldn’t paint a red wall blue without using primer first, would you?). This technique really works wonders. If you do it right, you’ll be the only one who knows your tattoo is there. Good luck!

ADDED: Whoever thumbed me down is obviously very silly and has no clue what the “thumbs” feature is for. This tattoo-cover-up remedy has always worked anytime I’ve used it and has never failed me once. Some people! Goodness!

Why do you want to cover it up? Obviously, you must have wanted it and went thru the time to get it, it is part of you so why cover it up?

The Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs have been sworn enemies since the early days of the NFL, going back over five decades now. They’ve had so many heart stopping games over the last fifty years, we know that most of the time we can look forward to a wild roller coaster ride and a crazy ending between those two rivals.
